All the angels singing that you gonna die

I love Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog and Avengers. The movie is like Avengers with HAPPY END for Loki! So yeah, cheers- I will sit forever at the Laundry and eat frozen yogurt and wait...

LIKED IT!? Wanna reblog!?

As I scrolled down to see this cosplay in its entirety I did a double-take due to your face and facial expression. In a single word, I would describe the combination as "stunning." Your pale skin, combined with your unforced-looking countenance, really created the atmosphere of the whole picture. Your stare is holding. It's fantastic.

This cosplay looks well-constructed and well-fitted, which are crucial aspects of a costume of this type and portrayal of such a character; because you are cosplaying Loki, it is appropriate that you look very comfortable and confident.

The setting of the picture is a bit unusual- Loki in a laundromat is not something that comes to mind immediately- but the apparent casualness of the shot makes the presence of all the washing machines eccentric and interesting rather than weird.

In the line of critique, I'd say that having both hands posed wrists-on-knees does not lend to the atmosphere the reset of the cosplay and picture tries to relate- though the pose is casual and does not demerit the picture, I think it would be more fitting to have only one hand on a knee, if that, and the other engaged in either some activity such as under the chin supporting the head, or extending outwards or backwards to brace some weight onto the top of the washing machine.

Also, there is a bit of visual imbalance in this picture- the image gets more complicated as the eye travels downward, so the eye is attracted there- a shame, because your face is beautiful and sharp and really makes the whole cosplay. To remedy this I would suggest cropping the picture or taking the picture from a lower origin with the camera angled slightly up. This technique would also work well because 1) Loki's character is somewhat condescending and a lower shot looking upwards would reflect that, 2) you are already on top of a washing machine in the photo, so you might as well emphasize increased height relative to the ground, and 3) it creates a more interesting photo, as right now the camera is basically level with your overall height and the plane of the photo is a flat line.

Overall: This is a good cosplay. This is also a good photo, but I believe changing a few details could make it an even better photo.
