Well, the Loki cosplayer already knows how I feel about her portrayal: costume, hair, face, etc. For anyone else they can visit her website and find my past critiques concerning that.
Now, Stark. Tony is looking a little more feminine than I would like to see. I think the addition of larger, more masculine eyebrows and stubble on the cheeks and neck would help tremendously. I have a feeling that the hair isn't quite right, maybe a bit too full or long? Other than these MINOR nitpicks, Stark's good. I can understand why the cosplayer went for the suit rather than T-shirt, unless she has the "body type" for the look -- it's kind of hard to pull off not having boobs when you have boobs. The suit looks great though, very Tony.
The background or lack thereof is... okay. Not great. I don't think a scenic thing like churches or fountains would work here. Perhaps a bright city background in the evening but with the characters in the light in the foreground? The 'all red' reminds me of a Sears photo shoot backdrop. Maybe blue would have been better? Or is it red with the golden glare in honor of Iron Man? Because if it is, it's a great idea, but not so easy on the eyes in practice. The camera shine is also fine, it's an artistic touch, but I agree with GackJOB78 that with no source, it seems out of place.
I really enjoy the pose, but I think it could be better. Same pose. Better. It looks too stiff, not "in the moment", "getting carried away" as it tries to portray. It's hot, don't get me wrong. I really enjoy these two characters and I'm now enjoying seeing them together. I also enjoy erotic art and so show of tongue on tongue is highly appreciated. If we had Loki maybe doing some reaching, if you could see some squeezing... the clothing bunched up would show that hands were really grabbing, really wanting. The pose says to me, "We are trying to look like we are so hot for each other that we are just throwing ourselves at each other." I want to SEE "We are SO FREAKING HOT FOR EACH OTHER that we're just THROWING OURSELVES at each other, GRABBING and LICKING!!"
I don't know if this is a first effort for this "type" of shoot for these cosplayers. I like what I'm seeing, a LOT. My critique is being made solely to see improvement for these 2 just in case others are seeing what I am (as each person viewing this will have their own personal opinions)... and, well, maybe also because I'm a wee bit selfish and I'd like to see this a bit more sensual for my own viewing pleasure.
AWESOME work ladies (and photographer)! If you do NOT change the way you do ANYTHING, I'll STILL be very pleased with what I see!
The Colors in this is just great, it fits everything in the picture and blends it all together. The light glare that crosses from corner to corner? Good touch, giving them a "Shining" moment. These two together, is something I think of every time that I watch the movie, it fits them. I've seen a bunch of art of these two together, but your's has a little pop to it making it special and stand out to me. Photography was a great choise for this specific subject, being the others are all drawn art. You've created a real touching moment here, it fits together great, giving everything a loving mood. Everything flows and it's a really good piece. Very well done.
